Hi everyone! Joy (of the wonderfully delightful blog, Frock Files) and I have teamed up to bring sexy {snail mail} back and spread some love. This month, Joy's blog theme is friendship and to honor that theme, we thought it would be fun to invite you all to a snail mail party where each of us will send a special someone encouraging, uplifting words via the good ol' United States Postal Service. As many of you know the act of handwriting a letter and sending it in the mail is a dying art. Joy and I are avid snail mail fans and we want to do our small part to keep the art alive. Plus, who doesn't get excited to receive something special in the mail? (That's a rhetorical question.) Here are the details:
- Leave a comment either below or on Joy's post by this Friday, March 8th to be included in Project: Postal
- Once all comments have been collected, Joy and I will coordinate sending each of you one person's name and address
- The person chosen for you will be your lucky recipient. Please mail to this person a beautiful quote of your choosing, something uplifting and encouraging. If you know this person, perhaps you can even pick a quote specific to them, something you know they need to hear. You can embellish, handletter, typeset, watercolor, write on a paper napkin...the quote anyway that your heart desires. (Perhaps the recipient will even hang it on their inspiration board.)
- Extra credit and optional: Once you've received your beautiful quote in the mail, take a snap via Instagram and/or Tweet it using the hashtag: #ProjectPostal. (It will be so lovely to see everyone's creations in one place.)

Ok, my friends, are you ready to give the USPS a little extra business and make someone's day? Ready, set, go!
