{moodboard / march}

H A P P Y March, everyone! Let the official countdown to spring begin. Slowly but surely, flowers will start to bloom, layers will be shed, and the light of the day will grow increasingly longer. This month seems to symbolize renewal what with the change in the season, time springing forward, and Easter.    ...

Can I be honest with you?

I have started, back spaced, started, and deleted the words of this post so many times. I've actually considered throwing in the towel. I'm a jumble of thoughts right now.

Perhaps I'm overly excited about spring arriving. Or perhaps I'm relieved that (the worse part of) the winter months are becoming smaller and smaller in the rear view. I simply don't know how to adequately and properly convey these emotions to you. If I was speaking to you in person right now, I would simply give you a big bear hug and do a little happy dance. Maybe these emotions I'm feeling are so good that I'm afraid to speak them out loud.

Have you ever felt this way? Have you ever felt so happy that you feared it might be snatched right out of your hand? Or, am I the only crazy one?

No matter, I'm running with scissors and wishing you all a H A P P Y March!

12 Send Me Your Thoughts:

  1. This is exactly how I feel! I would give you a big squeeze and then squeal as I did a happy little shuffle. Yes ma'am. I feel so happy I could burst. And I'm worried that happiness will snatched right away from me by the impending weather forecast that is predicting 3-6" of snow tomorrow...still a full 24 hours ahead of when we're scheduled to fly out, but still! Liiiitle bit of panicking going on right now. ;)

    I love this moodboard so much. Those are my kinds of colors. A very happy March indeed!! xoxo

  2. I have definitely felt this way, but I always find that happiness is contagious once you do express it. It has a better possibility of growing once shared.  I'm glad you're feeling good - I always get excited when the seasons change too. xo!

  3. Oh yes, I'm very familiar with those emotions! Especially in March, where there seems to be a tug-of-war between winter and spring. This week we've got relatively mild weather but I won't celebrate just yet. I know we're about a month off from anything beginning to blossom. But it doesn't matter, because summer will be here sooner or later. And daylight saving begins this Sunday! So let's spring forward together, shall we? xo

  12. beautiful moodboard and i love that it is still a bit dark. i am generally late to embrace the transitioning months, usually happily settled in my current season. it also helps that san diego has no snow. :) thanks for the inspiration!
