hi everyone! hope you all had a great weekend and were able to take some time to reflect and think about things that have special meaning to you. last monday i started a new column that we shall now simply call "my monday with..." where i hope to get many of you to share the things that make you happy and/or have special meaning to you. teri of beach city lifestyle kindly agreed to be the first and some of her favorite things are featured above. teri authors a fun and beautiful blog all about beach lifestyle. we met last october in the blogging your way course and quickly found many commonalities, one of which is living in southern california.
a few fun facts about teri's favorite things: she would grab that book - grace: thirty years of fashion at vogue - in a fire; those black framed glasses belong to her husband and thus represent him amongst her favorite things (aw!); she can't live without her favorite lipsticks and wears her tiffany bangles and bobbi brown beach every day; the tiny chanel bag was a vintage find (!); she loves looking for beach rocks and finding the perfect ones; and doesn't leave home without her mac laptop and iphone. oh, and teri found that bird nest on her porch...the eggs never hatched! gotta love the wonder of nature. i love that teri was able to get biscuit into the photo!
thank you, teri, for popping by today. it was so nice to see what makes your monday a little brighter. hm, who will pop by next month? happy monday everyone!
ps~i can't leave you today without wishing my significant other a very happy birthday, which definitely calls for some of this goodness!!
Happy birthday to your husband! Indulge in some cupcakes and hug your loved ones a little closer. Thank you Teri for sharing! I love all of her things. Especially Biscuit! I'm impressed the cat hung around for the photo, haha. This series is so much fun, Theresa! Here's to a great week. xo
ReplyDeletehappy birthday to your hubby! love teri's picks- especially that she would save the book in a fire, so funny :)
ReplyDeleteHi Theresa-
ReplyDeleteTHis is so cute! I love how you labeled everything. You're so darn creative! Biscuit was happy to pose. She's very nosey and then proceeded to try and eat the bird's nest (which is why I keep a glass dome over it!) The nerve. xo Teri
Yay! A my monday with... already!! Lovely. I like the colour coded tagging, nice touch. And nice to meet Teri. I have a black cat too, that I couldn't imagine my life without :)
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your husband! (ps. the "this goodness" link isn't working on my end).
Happy Monday.
oh i adore the feisty grace coddington! i didn't even know this book existed!!! this looks like such a happy, fun loving mix... love it!
ReplyDeleteAwww cupcakes yum, I couldn't resist opening the link, it had to be something naughty but nice :-) Happy birthday Mr. T :-D. I love the variety of Teri's My Monday, what a great start to the series. I wonder what bird laid those eggs, they seem very tiny, any ideas ?? Biscuit is rocking the monochrome styling laid out against the white background. Happy Monday xx
ReplyDeleteOh hooray, Teri! None of this surprises me, so it tickles to me to see how we're all getting to know each other. I think I need to go test out Bobbi Brown's Beach. Might be time to make a switch from my everyday. And Teri, I have a blue bowl filled with white rocks from our time in San Diego. It's one of my greatest treasures. This tidbit about you has reminded me to take it out from hiding!
ReplyDeleteAnd Theresa, sender of one of the most gorgeous thank you notes ever, happy happy day to your hubs and your whole family. xoxo
What a fun new column...I love that idea! And happy birthday to your husband!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's nice to know more about Teri and what she enjoys. The computer and phone - exactly. I'd love to look at that book! Also the cat is adorable, and her honey's glasses - sweet. Great idea, T, and hi there, Teri!
ReplyDeleteLove this and Teri's picks. So fun! Can't wait to see the next ones:)
