last week while i was searching for homes for the lawn reform post, i stumbled upon this amazing home featured in dwell. the home is located in carlsbad, california and is a modern masterpiece. the entire facade of the home is hidden behind a charred cedar fence. this same wood, along with an abundance of ipe wood, is carried throughout the house. there is also a japanese soaking tub and large japanese-style rock garden, or as the owner's like to refer to it, "carlsbad's largest pulic restroom for cats." in all seriousness, the entire house is worth a gander.
